The aim of the course is familiarisation with water through pre-adaptation to the water environment. By pre-adaptation to the aquatic environment we mean such a psychological, motor and physiological process of the child, in which the reactions of the child learning to swim are so attenuated that both the attention and the motor apparatus of the practising child are prepared for didactic perception, i.e. for the start of proper swimming instruction.
