"It's sick" - the latest offering from the Young Gentlemen's Cabaret, like every one of their programmes, touches on social issues, things we encounter on a daily basis.
"It's Sick" falls under the umbrella of anything that can exist in broadly interpersonal relationships that deviates from the norm. Going further, it is about what is abnormal, nonsensical and absurd in our everyday life.
As Sigmund Freud used to say, 'there are no healthy people, there are only undiagnosed people' and this programme fully confirms this.
Funny sketches and surprising punch lines, of which there is no shortage here, great connecting scenes, as well as ironic, clever songs make the two hours pass very quickly and we feel a healthy sense of insufficiency.
All performed at the highest stage level and with total commitment. The gentlemen neatly combine objectivity with moderate realism without focusing exclusively on the merits or flaws of the world and people. They show the world in the right proportions and hastily do not generalise.
