It is well known that if you are looking for a large dose of good humour and a recipe for excellent entertainment, it is worth reaching for a French comedy. 'Obsessive Compulsive Neurosis', a play written by Laurent Baffie and directed by Artur Barcis, is a light-hearted story about complicated personalities.
When several patients meet in the waiting room of a brilliant psychiatrist, it is always interesting. All the more so when they are people suffering from such phobias as uncontrollable swearing (Tourettes disease), counting everything (arithmomania), fear of bacteria (nosophobia), repeating every sentence (palilalia), inability to stand on the line, or the eponymous obsessive-compulsive neurosis. And when, due to the doctor's endless absences, the patients start to self-medicate, it promises to be a real ride... It's going to be fun!
