Paweł Domagała - Narnia Tour
He plays in film and theatre, gives concerts, releases records, writes songs and cabaret monologues, and lends his voice to animated films. He does not part with his guitar and tries to be radically humble and radically self-confident at the same time. Paweł Domagała may be associated with such films as "80 milionów", "Planeta Singli" or "Wkręceni", and recently also with spectacular musical achievements.
He already has four studio albums to his credit - 'Opowiem Ci o mnie' released in 2016, '1984' two years later, 'Return' in2020 and most recently his fourth album 'Narnia'.
It all came to a head when the single promoting the artist's second album "Take No Questions" - quickly became a radio hit, as evidenced by the 2018 RMF FM Hit of the Year statuette awarded to it and over 143 million views on YouTube.
Since then, Paul's music career has developed in tandem with a flourishing acting career.
18 November 2022 saw the premiere of Paweł Domagała's fourth album, entitled 'Narnia'. The album is promoted by Pawel's latest single and music video: "Po co ten krzyk".
The day of the premiere also saw the launch of the 'Narnia tour', the first part of which ended just before Christmas. We visited 16 cities and played to packed houses in some of the most beautiful concert halls in Poland. The new songs, which matured in the recording studio under the watchful eye of Łukasz Borowiecki - have already come to full life in the concert setting, supported by the energy of the audience.
We asked Paul for a few words of comment on the new album:
The new album draws on Paul's favourite book 'The Chronicles of Narnia' by C. S. Lewis. The album will premiere on 18 November 2022.
I understand Narnia as a land where each of us has to enter and fight our battles. A place where you first put yourself in order in order to be able to change the world," says Pawel, "All the albums so far have been personal, but in 'Narnia' I speak directly about my fears, weaknesses. There are also songs in a completely different climate, such as 'Children at Grandparents', a duet with Kasia Sienkiewicz from 'Apple Blossom' or a song-commentary on reality. This is certainly the most personal and most therapeutic album for me. The album that in a way saved me, because working on 'Narnia' was at the same time working on myself.
In 2023 we are planning to continue the "Narnia TOUR" concert tour so that the songs from the new album have a chance to reach audiences all over Poland. We start already in February with a concert in the new beautiful Hall in Bielsko-Biala - Cavatina Hall.
