Spectaklove and the producers of comedy hits Boeing Boeing, The Name, Smart People are reaching for the blockbuster film How Good Lies in Nice Company. This intimate comedy-drama is one of the biggest box office successes of 2016. It was adapted and translated by Bartosz Wierzbięta - a master of witty dialogue, known for 'Shrek' and 'Penguins of Madagascar', among others.
Have you ever wondered who among your friends is hiding something? Who is lying on a daily basis or at least "slightly deceitful"? Why not start playing open cards? What could be the result? Before you check it out at home, make sure you go to the theatre to see "Lying Well". Every so often, a group of friends get together for dinner. This time they are planning to watch a lunar eclipse together. Its phases, according to many beliefs, influence our behaviour and mood. People can become unpredictable.... It started as usual. Jokes, gossip and banter were the order of the day among friends. Until someone suggested a game. What happens when everyone shares the contents of their phone, reveals emails and text messages? Who's "dimwittedness" will work out for the best, and who will sink? "Lying Well" will be a meeting of outstanding acting personalities. The names speak for themselves: Szymon Bobrowski, Anita Sokołowska, Marcin Perchuć, Olga Bołądź, Wojciech Zieliński, Katarzyna Kwiatkowska, Przemysław Sadowski and Bartłomiej Topa. It is thanks to them that viewers will experience extraordinary emotions, but above all they will have a great time.
